HELP IMPROVE WOMEN'S LIVES ... BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Beaches Women's Partnership is fortunate to have a terrific group of Care Connector volunteers. These are women just like you who set aside a few hours a week to help women and their families at the Beaches who are in need.

Volunteering as a BWP Care Connector is both rewarding and fun. There are a number of capacities in which you can help BWP, depending upon your preferences and talents.

Care Connectors are supported with training, intergroup communications, and quarterly informal gatherings.

We are always in need of volunteers for staffing phones, helping with outreach, supporting events, and much more. We also have opportunities once a quarter to have a great time as a member of our Feet On The Street team. This outreach initiative typically begins with a quick coffee meeting, followed by canvassing the local businesses, restaurants, and such where we can leave literature for women who may need support. The FOTS outting then typically concludes with everyone meeting for lunch, along with the awarding of prizes!
